Well it was another great Festival day and we’ve got the photos to prove it! If you’ve got some great photos of the Festival that you’d like to share then simply email them to us. If you’ve got A LOT of photos and emailing them just won’t work then let us know via email and we can arrange to get them some other way. Thanks, and enjoy the memories.

ps – There are photos from other years too if you go to the Photos page (upper right corner). It’s amazing to see some of the kids growing up through the years.

We’re back at it again this year with the Roseheath Street Festival being held Saturday, June 25th! We’re still in the early stages of planning so if you want to help out or have some ideas for activities or events please let us know and we’ll help make it happen and keep you updated via email too.

We’ll post new information as it becomes available. In the meantime why not check out some great photos from the Festivals gone by?

We’re posting new photos from this year’s Festival as we receive them. If you’ve got some great shots to share let us know and we’ll get them up here as soon as possible.

And thanks again to all the volunteers who helped out and all the brave people who came out in the rain to make it another great Festival. It couldn’t happen without all of you!

At this point we’re still planning on moving ahead with the Festival even though the weather doesn’t look so great. Unfortunately Sunday looks even worse and we’ve got a lot of hamburgers and hot dogs to get rid of!

Saturday, June 26th Festival Day!

2010 May 28

Yes, the Roseheath Street Festival will be celebrating its 11th anniversary this June 26th, and apparently world leaders from around the globe will be coming to Toronto to commemorate the occasion! The last we heard there will be 20 of them, and it’s causing quite the kerfuffle downtown where they’re staying.

We need YOUR HELP to make sure we can pull it off this year. Things like helping to set-up, helping to teardown, barbecuing or simply lending your BBQ, face-painting for the kids or reffing ball hockey or soccer. Needless to say there are a lot of things going on and IF YOU’VE GOT A GREAT IDEA THEN LET US KNOW! More then likely we can make it work together.

After all, that’s what the Street Festival is all about: getting to know your neighbours and making our community a better place to live. It all begins with you!

Contact us via email, or call Crystal at 690-7348, or Garth at 686-5082

The schedule of events so far can be downloaded here

Photos From 2009 Festival

Alright! We’ve finally got around to uploading some photos from the Festival this past weekend. As mentioned before, these photos are submitted by Bruce, but if you’ve got some you’d like to share then either contact us via email or burn them to disc and drop them off at 91 Roseheath (don’t forget your name!).

Thanks again Bruce for these great shots and remember, anyone can make comments and discuss their favourite parts of the Festival via the link below.

Festival a big success

Judging by the amount of laughing and smiling kids and adults on the street this past Saturday I’d have to say this year’s Festival was one of the best yet! And yes indeed, it was unknowingly the 10th anniversary. Bruce apparently has photographic evidence going all the way back to 2000 of the inaugural event.

Talking about Bruce, the Festival’s unofficial “official” photographer, he’s got some fantastic photos of the day that we’ll be posting soon. If you’ve got some great photos of your own that you’d like to share let us know and I’ll try to figure out a way for you to either upload them here, or you could simply burn the best onto a disc and drop it in my mailbox at 91 (be sure to include your name on it!).

Thanks, Garth

Volunteers Still Needed

2009 June 9

We still need a few volunteers to help fill a few of the holes we’ve got. The main ones would be lending us a barbecue to cook the burgers on (we’ve got one, but could use two more), and also actual people to do the barbecuing. If you’d be able to help in a general way with set-up and/or various things during the day please let us know in advance as well.

Also, if anybody has got a wheel-barrow we could borrow late in the afternoon please let us know here via the comments or email directly to webmaster[at]roseheathave.com.

Thanks!
